Cyclo International’s Variable Speed Switch (VSS) provides smooth, reliable control of selected single-phase fan motors between 0.18 kW and 0.37 kW using four-wire cable. Designed specifically for Cyclo’s smaller motor range, our VSS adjusts airflow to suit demand, reducing sound levels and improves comfort in everyday commercial kitchen environments.
Its rotary dial provides smooth adjustment, while the integrated ON/OFF switch ensures simple and safe operation.

A faint electrical hum may occur at certain speed settings due to the triac-type control method. This is a normal characteristic and does not impact fan performance or lifespan.
Although the V46-374-SP can be controlled using a Variable Speed Switch, Cyclo International recommend the use of a Variable Speed Drive (VSD) for fans delivering over 1000 l/s. This aligns with current Australian Standards and best practice for energy efficiency and motor protection.
